Gary launched Axiom Personnel in 2005 and has worked in the recruitment sector for 25 years. He has built a team of experienced consultants though mentoring and sharing his industry knowledge. Gary’s wife Jackie and his son Harry both work in the business. He enjoys travelling and has ticked off many destinations on his bucket list over the years, with India being his favourite holiday, where he explored the southern regions of Goa with much of the trip off the beaten track. Gary loves a game of golf, kayaking with Jackie his wife, and also clay pigeon shooting with friends, fitting that in around his family and work commitments.

Katie joined Axiom Personnel in 2012, having worked in London for most of her career, spending time in Personal Assistant and Executive Assistant roles. Katie met Jackie at the school gates as their children started school together. At the time Katie had been made redundant and was looking for a part-time role to suit her need for flexible working. She is highly organised, has an eye for detail and enjoyed 10 years working with the team in Payroll before moving into the position of Operations Manager in 2023. Katie lives in Hornchurch, loves to keep healthy, takes regular exercise, and is a bit of a local historian. She has a teenage daughter and still works part-time around her family commitments.

Ella specialises in Industrial and Facilities Management, both in temporary and permanent contracts. Ella is now a local girl living in Romford but grew up in Chigwell and has an in-depth knowledge of Essex and East London, her clients know that she can source and retain candidates for their local positions. Ella joined Axiom in 2021, having spent the previous year working in the lettings department of a real estate agent. Ella, built strong relationships with her landlords and her tenants, working closely with them both to meet their demands, ensuring the landlords made the best returns but also the tenants were well looked after. The skills needed for this role, meant it was an easy transition into the field of recruitment, as her professionalism shone through along with her client management and candidate engagement. Ella is a huge music fan, writing and recording her own material, this takes up a lot of her time, but she still manages to spend time with her partner enjoying nights out and great food.

Karolina joined Axiom personnel in 2019 and is the lead consultant specialising in the industrial sector, specifically warehousing, logistics, industrial and automotive. Karolina began her career in retail sales moving rapidly through to a management position with a major high street brand. She demonstrates a high level of competency in leadership and after joining Axiom in 2019, initially as a resourcer, but again quickly becoming a consultant, and then Senior consultant, managing some of the larger clients at Axiom. Karolina moved to the UK with her family in 2006 from Poland and has lived in Grays since arriving in the UK. She is very proud of her heritage but is often mistaken as a ‘typical’ Essex girl. Karolina is able to develop instant relationships with our Eastern European candidates and this puts them at ease when they are able to communicate in Polish with her. Karolina has an active life, walking and hiking and exploring new areas. She’s a motorhead and loves F1. (her secret passion is Netflix and you can ask her about any recent series and she will give you her opinion).

Liam has worked in recruitment for the last 12 years, specialising for most of his career in Construction, but has also spent time recruiting for the Transport, Logistics and Warehousing sectors. Liam has always worked for independent recruitment consultants in East London and South Essex. He has extensive knowledge of the local area and has built a substantial database of candidates and clients. He has a background in construction having worked initially in Air Conditioning, all of his family still work within the trades. Liam has worked on-site supporting his family over the years so brings hands-on experience to the business. Liam brings an old-school approach to his clients and candidates establishing face-to-face and telephone contact regularly and building and maintaining long-term relationships. Liam and his partner have a little boy and they live in Hornchurch.

Courtney joined the business at the end of October 2023. Courtney brings with her over 10 years of sales experience from a wide range of industry sectors, including renewable energies, corporate travel and her last role in large-scale military events. Courtney has worked in central London and Essex but joined us here in Romford, so she can be more local to home. Courtney is looking to bring all of her training and experience from her previous roles to Axiom Personnel. Courtney is the youngest of 6 brothers and sisters, she loves spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews.

Harry joined the business in 2022 with the goal of eventually becoming a Co Director along side his Dad. Harry works on our Security Desk and is a qualified SIA Door Supervisor and has worked in the film industry. Harry is looking to grow his knowledge and experience across all areas of the business Harry began his work life in the water sports sector and worked his way up in that business. Harry became a manager over 3 years ago running teams, shifts and the facility, often getting his hands dirty by maintaining the engineering of the equipment. Harry felt it was important to gain management experience away from the family business before returning this year. Harry is currently learning from Ella, one of the senior recruiters, gaining industry knowledge and bringing new ideas into the business. Harry enjoys Wake Boarding and travels to outdoor wake board parks across the UK.

Demi recently re-joined Axiom Personnel after a period of time away to raise her young family. Demi spent two years with the business before taking maternity leave. Her areas of expertise are in Industrial and Logistics resourcing, bringing with her, knowledge of the business and the local area of Essex and East London. Demi is multiskilled in both permanent and temporary resourcing and has a lovely manner with her candidates, we are very excited she has decided to re-join the business. Demi has two small children and is a great example of the changing working practices, embracing a hybrid role, working from home for most of her week, but attending the office for our team meetings and any relevant training. Most of her free time is spent with her children and her partner and her nutty dog, Nellie, but if she does get a moment to herself, she loves arts and crafts creating unique personalised gifts and novelty items. Demi is encouraging her family and friends to craft!

Ruby, joined full-time in the summer of 2023, having worked for the company for a year on a part-time basis, this was during her first year at college Ruby was studying a Level 3 in Business Administration but decided to move into an apprenticeship role, as she felt this would be more beneficial being in the business full-time. She is now studying Business Administration on her apprenticeship. Ruby is articulate, confident and has a great manner with the candidates. Ruby enjoys travelling and has already spent time in America and India as well as many European countries, Ruby loves spending time with her friends and family.

Jackie re-joined the business in 2010 bringing her expertise in Office Management, Payroll and Accounts to Axiom Personnel. Prior to this Jackie had spent her career as a fraud investigator at one of the leading High Street Banks. Jackie brings her skills in processes and procedures ensuring our temporary teams are always on track with payments and holidays. Our candidates love working with her and her original role in the company was collating compliance documents for all our staff. Jackie is a keen equestrian and recently started riding again. She loves to travel and is also one of our flexible team, managing working from home and the office to meet the needs of the business.
