Here at Axiom Personnel we are currently recruiting for a Recycling operative for our long time client based in Rainham, London. The hours for this position are either 7PM - 5AM (night shifts includes £20 shift allowance per shift) £13.71 per hour This is an ongoing position and for the right candidate the role can become permanent. The successful candidate will have following experience
Good communication skills, basic problem solving mentality and basic computing skills to allow data inputting are essential. Full training is provided, but experience in the operation of a baler machine would be advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Operation of the baler Machine, Crosswrap and Strapping machinery.
- Cleaning and general maintenance of machines and associated work areas
- Housekeeping of operating areas
- Liaising with external technicians
- Enforcing PPE requirements with all delivery and collection drivers, maintenance technicians, and employees
- Carrying out safety checks and reporting/recording defects
- Regulating product quality and maintaining stock levels / machine consumables
