Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
Reflecting back on Christmas last year, when Boris told us we could still have a Christmas, but further restrictions might be coming in the New Year. The Trafalgar Square New Year celebrations were cancelled for a second year on the trot and Covid passports were needed to get into nightclubs and other venues. Facemasks were compulsory on public transport as well as most indoor venues, and travel was starting to open up again but it wasn’t until March this year that all restrictions were lifted.
I don’t know about you, but that feels like it was such a long time ago.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all my clients for their support this year, we are an independent business that has built its reputation on trust and loyalty. We have some amazing clients that have worked with us for many years and I look forward to working with them again in 2023.
I would also like to say thank you to my team, who have pulled out all the stops for our clients this year, placing candidates at short notice, recruiting for multiple vacancies and sites and going above and beyond to keep our clients fully staffed. And thanks must go to our candidates, the team works hard to vet new talent for our clients, and we have had a steady stream of new candidates go through our books this year.
I wish everyone a peaceful Christmas and New Year and look forward to connecting with you in 2023.
