Senior Supervisor

We are urgently looking to recruit an experienced Senior Supervisor for our International client, who are a well well established Facilities Management Company.


As a key member of the Leadership Team, you will successfully manage Shift Supervisors who are responsible for the various processes and logistical functions throughout the site. You will be responsible for the cost efficient operation of the shifts who work a 3 or 2 shift pattern whilst ensuring customer expectations are continually exceeded.


•Maintains safe & clean work environment by educating & directing individuals & teams on the use of all control points, equipment & resources; maintaining compliance with established policies & processes.

•Maintaining & improving all aspects of associated safety metrics including risk assessments; Safety investigation reporting and timely issue resolution.

•Compliance to Health and Safety standard ISO 18001.


•Maintains quality service by establishing & enforcing organisation standards.

•Measuring & monitoring key performance indicators; action planning to ensure metrics & processes are being enforced, reviewed & updated.

•Continual monitoring & revisiting quality systems & procedures by analysing performance records & data.


•Ability to plan ahead & have robust plans to ensure effective on time delivery.

•Maintain work flow by monitoring steps of the process, setting processing variables, observing control points & management of delivery methods & practices.

•Awareness & management of daily production schedules & constraints, able to prioritise & set priorities whilst being able to resolve issues.


•Strict adherence to budgets & management of time available, targets reasons for overtime & able to manage away from the need to use it.

•Team financial performance including all absence management to be effectively managed.


•Ability to form & create successful performing teams & team players.

•Contributions to the team effort by accomplishing related results needed.

•Effective communication & maintaining working relationships with all levels; including customers & suppliers.

•Maintain strong leadership qualities at all times & be able to clearly direct & lead, whilst enforcing a disciplined work ethic.

•Issue resolution, maintaining & collecting data, analysing & setting out effective actions by identifying solutions.


•Ensuring operational equipment is fit for purpose, managing timely repairs & monitoring & effective follow up of actions.

•Pro-actively identify issues & concerns before they arise, however being able to resolve & fix situations & shortfalls before they become uncontrollable.


•Ensure environmental practices & policies are adhered to in line with Environmental standard ISO 14001.

•Work area’s to be maintained & schedules set to ensure only the highest standards of housekeeping are accepted.


•Previous manufacturing or production experience essential
•Supervisory or management experience essential
•Be a peoples person
•Ability to communicate at all levels
•Strong management style
•PC literacy
