About this Role
Security Officer
I am currently recruiting on behalf of a large security company in central London, they are looking for a full time Security Officer to work within a prestigious private school, the hours for this position are 7am - 5pm Monday - Friday, term time only. Our client will offer shifts at other sites during school holidays - guaranteed.
The ideal candidate will need,
-
A valid SIA Door Supervisors License
-
A valid enhanced DBS, so able to work with children, this MUST be on the update service.

A minimum of 3 years experience with security

Be able to travel into London for those times

Have previous experience of working in a school/college or other educational facility
Duties will include:
Access & egress control, patrolling school and grounds, including ,lunchtime patrols, offering assistance/customer service to parents and students. Issuing visitor passes, providing security at school events which may be out of term time. Other duties as required by the client.
Please be aware that due to the nature of the role you will be expected to be impeccably groomed, have clear communication skills and be able to communicate with people at all levels - including students and parents.
