About this Role

At Axiom Personnel we are currently recruiting for an Purchasing Assistant for our client based in Hackney. The working hours are 9am-5pm, 3 days a week, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are ideal but the client can be flexible. Pay rate is £15.50 p/hour.    

The successful candidate will have following experience

  • Previous experience working within Import/export and purchasing
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • A can-do attitude and excellent attention to detail.
  • Personable with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organised
  • Fully IT literate
  • Proficiency of MS Office – Word & Excel.

Responsibilities

Duties

  • Import/Export Clerk
  • Online Banking
  • Use of Excel for financial record keeping
  • Purchasing - liaising with suppliers and transport companies
  • Customer liaison on occasion
  • Authorising Supplier Invoice
