We're seeking an enthusiastic Account Director to lead a key client account in Essex within Manufacturing and Distribution. This exciting role combines building strong client relationships, driving service excellence, and delivering growth. The successful candidate will have following experience

Person Specification

  • Experience in a similar role within Manufacturing and Distribution.
  • Skilled in negotiation, meeting client needs, and senior-level reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting, performance management, and metrics.
  • Proficient in MS Office and relevant industry software.
  • Attention to detail.
  • IOSH & NEBOSH desired but not essential.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, organisational, and leadership skills.

  • Performance Management: Ensure contracts meet targets, resolve complaints and drive process improvements.
  • Customer Experience: Enhance client satisfaction through proactive solutions, cost efficiency and innovative services.
  • Commercial and Supply Chain Oversight: Manager Suppliers, control costs and support compliant contract procurement.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, train and motivate teams while fostering growth and retention.
  • Efficiency & Compliance: Drive cost savings, track contract milestone and ensure regulatory compliance, including Health & Safety.
